Calories, calories ......
What you eat, how you absorb and if you
go to the gym all have an impact on your success.
But how many calories you consume is the
core to any weight gain plan - but don't just take the simple view of
eating as many as you can. It simply won't work - you need the
right type of food and the level of calories for you.
For example :
The answer will depend on how many hours
you work, how you go to work (drive, cycle, walk ?), if you do any
sport, etc. etc.
That is why the answer isn't as simple
as you need to eat 4000 calories to gain weight, etc. You need to eat
the right amount for you.
However, once you know the answer
you just have to check once how
many calories you consume on an average day and then you know - are
you eating enough or to little.
When you know that you will know if
adding weight gain drinks or eating more will work or if you need to
do something else to gain weight.
So,
what if you are already eating enough ?
Then you know that adding more calories
(in a drink or meal form) is a waste of time and you need to
concentrate on other factors - like what to eat or how you absorb.

Are you flushing calories ......
One aspect could be that if you are not absorbing all the nutrients from the food you eat, then
you are wasting a lot of money and benefits.
A condition called negative nutrition affects your ability to absorb
nutrients from food.
If you are not absorbing to the max then you won't be getting the
maximum benefit from the food you eat.
You can eat
and eat but if your body isn't absorbing nutrients you won't gain
weight.
Do you need to worry ?
There are many factors which will affect the way you absorb foods.
Some are really important and others less so.
